Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
An employee made false statements to make company look bad and to make company not attain contracts. Employee has been trying to get the contracts for himself. Now company has gone out of business due to lack of contracts. One/possibly two companies were making plans with the employee before our company went out of business. What legal measures can be taken?

You can sue the former employee for the wrongful acts and false statements, and you may be able to sue any other company that was working with your employee to damage your business. It is quite costly to bring such legal action, so you must be able to prove your damages as well as the wrongdoing by this employee.
