Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Employee termination
I know Arizona is a ''right to work state''. Does that mean you can fire someone for ANY reason? If the company has an employee handbook that states 3 write ups to cause firing, does that ''have'' to apply?? If someone gets fired just because the boss has personal issues and wants to get rid of them can the employee sue the employer in anyway?
Thank you,

Re: Employee termination
Right To Work has to do with no mandatory requirement that you be in a union to work. It's not related to your problem.
Sounds like you might have a claim for wrongful termination. This is a Labor Law question, not a business law question. Contact Mark Brinton in Mesa, Arizona, who files wrongful termination claims on behalf of employees.
Good luck.
