Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
employer owes me for wages
small business owner owes $7500 in back wages/salary. tried for past yr. to nicely contact him. says he doesn't owe money. filed suit against boss, wife, and business in Jan. only got response from boss. filed default judgement against wife and business. now we go to arbitration. is there anything we should be doing to prepare? we have evidence of 14 other judgements against boss over the past 14 yrs. he also won a huge lawsuit of over $600,000 and we saw nothing.

You do not state if you have an attorney. If so, follow his or her advice. If not, get one. This guy won a $600,000 judgment and you think you will beat him without an attorney? If you have an attorney, your question is inappropriate for this forum. We do not know all the facts, have any documents in front of us, and we cannot tell you everything to do to prepare for a trial in this forum. LawGuru is designed to answer simple, single issues about the law in general.
Good luck.
