Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Employment
we are a wholesale company and our salesreps work on commission,no contracts. We sometimes pay a draw against commission to get them started. If we let somebody go and they owe us money from their draw, do we have the right to ask for the money back?

Re: Employment
The answer depends upon your agreement with your sales rep. Without knowing more, your question can't be answered, as it depends upon the facts of your case.

Re: Employment
If you documented the draw against commission somewhere, say on the salesrep's check or payroll records or on a contract of any sort you would have proof of the draw.
