Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
liability as telemarketing manager
I currently opened up and manage a call center in a different state from our corporate office. If an employee misrepresents the abilty of our product and or service may I be held monetary or crimanally liable? I am managing the office and want to make sure I can't be held responsible since I am unable to monitor all callers at all times. All telemarketers our employees of the company including myself and our not independent contractors. I would also like to know if so what I can do to protect myself? What about the company are they liable?

Re: liability as telemarketing manager
You may be liable for misrepresentations you know about or fail to learn about due to lax supervision. Take charge as best you can.
