am i liable
My wife's ex-husband owns an adult care home. He was sued by the family of a client who lived there. The business is incorporated,she needs to know if she can be held liable in any way or if she needs to try and protect her assets.

More facts are needed. Is your wife a shareholder, officer, director, employee etc? Is there insurance to cover the claim? what are the assets of the business; can it handle the loss? What are the facts of the case? What are the odds of losing? What is the value of the claim? What assets does your wife have?
