Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Hello, My name is Matthew and I have a question relating to employee/employer financial responsibility. While at work at a job site a co-worker and I got stuck in an elevator and forced the doors open to get out. while my co-worker was notifying the proper persons I tried to "reset" the doors but in doing so a sensor in the door broke off. My employer is asking that I pay the deductible on the insurance claim. Should I pay or what?

Any attorney will tell you that's not a legitimate request by your employer. You can always refuse and contact your state's employment or labor department if they persist. Problem is, you may end up losing your job - unless your have a written employment agreement. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
