Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
No paycheck
My boyfriend has been with a small company for 8 months and gets paid on the first and fifteenth of each month. He was supposed to get paid 11/17 but did not receive his check...and still hasn't. They say they do not have the money to pay anyone...but they will when the receive some earnest money from a client. Is there any legal avenue to take to get his pay?

Re: No paycheck
If an employee sues an employer for unpaid wages and wins, he is entitled to triple the amount. Of course, if the employer truly does not have the ability to pay, the judgment would be of little value.
