Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
personal computer
I was recently removed as an employee (and partner) of a company. When i joined them, I brought my own PC. They told me that they will hold my PC for 10 days to extract any company information from it. I did sign an NCND, but I don't believe anything is there about my PC. Do they have the right to confiscate my computer?

Re: personal computer
Ten days does seem like an excessive period of time; two days would be more like it. How big is your hard drive, anyway? You may have a case for conversion of property or interference with your privacy concerns. I am also interested in your interest as a partner of the company. How is recognition/compensation for that being dealt with?
