Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
I had a problem with Walmart Vision Center in Phoenix, AZ. After 3 attempts by them to get my prescription correct, I decided that over two months of problems with the glasses I needed, to ask for a refund. They refunded 94 dollars of the 140 dollars that came out of my pocket. They said that the fee for the eye exam was not refundable since the doctor who performed the half hazard exam did not work for Walmart per se. Now I'm out 46 dollars with seemingly no recourse.
Do I have any avenue to try to recoup this loss??

Any business or franchise attorney will say to follow up with a regional office of Walmart that handles customer complaints. The higher up the management chain you go, the better your chances of getting somewhere. You can also consider filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you charged the exam on your credit card, you can also consider disputing the charge and let your credit card company help you sort this out. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
