Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Property Rights to Medical Records.
Who maintains the property rights to medical records? A physician assistant serving as an independent contractor (without a contract!) or an urgent care office? To the best of my knowledge, no waver was signed regarding the issue.

Re: Property Rights to Medical Records.
The answer depends upon what you agreed to when you asked to receive medical services and signed various forms that the office requested. I do not know what authorization you gave to the office or to the physician. Ultimately, you should have the right to copies of everything that is in your files, however, you may have to pay for copying the file.
