Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
I put a $500 down payment on a car in Phoenix and decided not to go through with it. They had me pre-sign the contract before giving them the remaining down. I did not take delivery because they did not make necessary repairs for 3 days. Can I get my $500 back?
1 Answer from Attorneys
As a Franchise Attorney I can only say the answer depends on the terms of the contract you signed. Does it say you can cancel if the repairs are not made in 3 days? You can't just change your mind without a good provision in the contract that supports your decision and expect to get your deposit back. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
