Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Signed and faxed contract but information on contract false
We signed a general form for upcoming services with only 1 signature. We are a partnership. Upon us faxing this signed form/binder, we were to receive an invoice for $1900 to pay for the entrance fee. We do not want to attend now due to mislead information about the seminar. No services were exchanged and no money has been exchanged. Are we binded to this contract/form in anyway?

Re: Signed and faxed contract but information on contract false
The signature of one partner legally binds the partnership. All signatures are not required. Generally contracts are presented and signed to prevent the parties from backing out. A change in circumstances on your part will not relieve you of liability for performance under the terms of a legitimate contract which one partner entered into on behalf of the partnership.
