Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
small business rules
I started my own photography business last year, and got a EIN through the IRS and a business checking account, etc. Was I supposed to get a business license if I am just a contract freelance photographer? I take realty photos.

Re: small business rules
Only if your local city requires it. If you are engaged in retail sales you will need a sales tax license, which I presume will apply to sales of photos. If so, you need city and state transaction licenses. They have an office that will inform you if your business is required to collect sales tax.
