Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona
Small Claim Over Never Receiving a Product.
I Purchased a product through an agreement with the Owner, I sent him a personal check which has been received. It has been well over a month, and now the owner refuses contact. I was told to file a small claim against him, but he is in the Marines. When going to my local court, they said I couln't file because he is out of state and I don't know his CA address. I only have his base address, Is there something I can do about this?

Re: Small Claim Over Never Receiving a Product.
It's hard to sue people who are in the military because there are special rules that apply. I would write to him and tell him that if he doesn't provide the product or a refund, you will write to his commanding officer.
