Employees are eligible for workman's compensation if they are injured in the scope of their employment. You need to carry insurance for this to make sure that you don't have to pay any benefits yourself, and to comply with the law, which requires that employers carry insurance. The State Compensation Fund provides insurance, as do private insurance companies. Speak to an insurance representative immediately.
