Tape recording a business meeting
Is it legal for a member to tape record a private member owned non profit water co. monthly board meeting? The board pays a person to record the meeting minutes but will not allow members access to the tape.

Re: Tape recording a business meeting
In general, so long as all the board members know that the meeting is being tape recorded, it is not illegal.
