Wife served with lawsuite

My Wife was served with a Lawsuite. It Was Against my Father and his compnay. I am a Jr. so I share his name. But the named my wife in the lawsuite and the wife of my father. What to i need to to to answer the suit and get her off of it?

You could consult with your father's attorney and let him or her get the proper substitution. Or you could contact the plaintiff's lawyer and get released from the suit by explaining the facts. Get the release from the suit in writing--it needs to be dismissed. Or you could hire an attorney.

You and your wife may have a problem on your credit report that will need to be resolved. The plaintiff did not do his homework and due diligence, and sued the wrong party. This could result in some damages to you.
