Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Arizona
Extortion
My cleaning/errand lady's husband first tried to extort money from one of my clients who I asked him to do landscaping and is now trying to do the same thing to me...wants a CAR, a CELL PHONE and if possible, a place to live....or he will try to go after my real estate license...nothing to do with real estate. Should I contact a lawyer or wait and see if he follow through with his threats/

Re: Extortion
Contact a lawyer right away!!! Do not wait. It could cost you more than your money or your license, it could cost you your life. The lawyer will have access to an investigator and will be able to work with the authorities to bring this bully in.
Good luck.
