Jury Summons
What will happen if a person does not respond to a jury summons?

Usually the Judge will issue a bench warrant for the arrest of the potential juror who does not obey the subpoena and who has no valid excuse for not doing so. The person is brought before the court and some punishment, such as a fine, is imposed in the Judge's discretion.
