Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Arizona

Threats

I met a man 9 years ago. We were both married. Only phone calls and a brief meeting in a park occured. No sex. I called his house 3 years ago and hung up the phone 2 times. He says he has documentaion of this. I also sent his wife a not so nice birthday card ( 9 years ago.) I recently met him after no contact for 3 years. He now says he recorded our comversations and has a picture of me hugging him .No sex. It was a short meeting in a park and I was wondering what the statute of limitations is on somethng like this in AZ. It is stupid but I would like to know my rights. He is emailing me saying that the recordings of me saying I called his wife 3 years ago is evidence and he will do what ever to proecute me to the fullest extent of the law. Can I get in trouble for something that was done 3-9 years ago. Is any of this contact considered harassment when he was a willing participant but lies about it? His wife also came to my home in March to confront us. At that time, there had been no contact for 3 years. think

Re: Threats

I am unable to identify any crime you may have comitted from the facts you provide. These facts do not rise to the level of legal harrassment or stalking.

Why the subject is arising after being dead for 3 years is certainly a mystery, but your best advice is to sever all ties with this man and his family at once. Do not have any more communication of any kind with him/her, and consult a lawyer if they persist in bothering you.
