Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Arizona
Weapons
I was convicted of armed bankrobbery in 1993, so I am now prohibited from having a weapon. My question is am I allowed to posess a muzzleloader or bow and arrow for hunting?

Re: Weapons
Under federal law you are a prohibited person and thus may not legally possess a dangerous weapon. There are certain exceptions for some people in the use of antique or sporting firearms, but one on supervised or pretrial release in the federal system typically has conditions of release which forbid the possession of any destructive device. Consult a criminal attorney in your area with specifics of your conviction for a further explanation of your rights.
