Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona

Car repossession

When i was younger bought a car & did pretty good paying for it, but i lost my job and could not pay it so it got repossessed. I payed what i could on it but i ended up not paying for it anymore. It's been over 10 yrs and the collections agency has has just issued a judgment for garnishment today (10-16-2007). My car was repossed over 10 yrs ago. is there anything i can do because it's such an old debt. Can they do that? Garnish my wages for a debt this old.

Re: Car repossession

The creditor can garnish if it has a valid judgment. You should have been served with the lawsuit some time ago.
