Re: Credit card laws

Most likely, the debt will be turned over to a collection agency. The agency will call you and write you and demand payment. Depending on the amount of the debt and other factors, the collection agency might hire a lawyer to sue you. If they sue and win, they can enforce their judgment by garnishing your wages or bank accounts or by having the sheriff seize your property and sell it (not all your property only certain non-exempt property).

Call a bankruptcy lawyer to help you with this.
