Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona

debt collection

I had an unsecured promisorry note that the holder defaulted on and eventually declared bamnkruptcy listing me as a creditor. The holder has now resurfaced and is financially in good shape again. Can I go after my original note in court and sue him.

No, not if the debtor received a discharge in his bankruptcy case.
