debt litigation on repossed vehicle

The law firm representing the loan company, told me that if I settled the debt, that it would still go to litigation. Why....and if I settle out of court, will the suit still be for the orginal amount or the amount that has been negotiated

Your question is confusing. If there is a settlement for the balance due on the car loan, then there shouldn't be litigation.
