There are many types of non-wage garnishments. I have successfully garnished rents that are owed to the judgment debtor. I've also garnished bank accounts and other types of debts owed by a third party to the judgment debtor.

It could apply to execution against bank accounts. Also, collectors could record an abstract of judgment, so that it becomes a lien on any real property in which you have an interest.
