If a spouse obtains credit during the marriage without the knowledge of the other spouse knowledge in their sole name and defaults can the othe spouse be sued for the debt

Yes. During the marriage, each spouse has the power to bind the community to this type of debt without the other's knowledge or consent. See A.R.S. 25-214.
