Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona
Who can do a sister state judgement ?
I have a small CA business. My client in AZ has breached their contract with us. I plan to get a judegement for $6K but need it enforced in AZ and collected. Is this possible via the Sister State judgement ? If so who can do this and for what terms ?

You would want an attorney licensed to practice in AZ. Perhaps you can find one in CA who also has an AZ license. Also, you might repost your question for AZ attorneys.

First, make sure you understand how you "get a judgment." Getting a judgment means that you have to sue this person and you have to win the lawsuit. Only then do you get a judgment. If you sue in California, then you would need to have your judgment domesticated in an Arizona court. It's a simple procedure.
BUT, don't be so sure you can sue this client in California. Besides your dealings with this person, what other contacts does he have with California?
You really need to see a California attorney to make sure that a California court has personal jurisdiction over this defendant.
It would be easier if you just sued the guy in Arizona. Then you don't have to worry about person jurisdiction or domesticating your judgment.
