Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona
Stopped paying all CCs, now being sued by banks
I stopped paying all personal credit cards(35k) 6 mo ago. I havent filed BK and moved out of AZ but banks have filed suits in AZ court against me.
1. If they cant serve me the subpoena, does case go on?
2. If default judgment against me, can I then include this liability in CH-7 BK?
3. How easily can a Judgment against me turn into a Garnishment and is the garnishment only valid in that county?

Re: Stopped paying all CCs, now being sued by banks
1.Yes
2.Yes
3.Once a judgment is entered, the plaintiff can then initiate garnishment proceedings. The judgment can be filed in your new state (aka domesticating a judgment) then garnish your wages or bank.
