Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arizona
wage garnishments
can both my spouse and myself be garnished at the same time by the same creditor? What can I file in the courts to stop us both from getting garnished, and only make one type of payment?

Re: wage garnishments
If the debt was incurred during marriage, they can garnish both of you. If not, they should not be garnishing the non-incurring spouse's wages. File a motion to stop garnishment with the court that issued the garnishment order.
