Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

3rd strike law

My boyfriend just was arrested after 2 years of being caught w/drugs w/intent to sell. When he was arrested it was for a previous probation violation. They did not charge him at the time w/the drug thing. He did his time for the violation, did probation and has stayed out of trouble for the past two years. Now he was arrested for what they caught him with 2 years ago. He has kept a job, got raises and promotions and paid all his back taxes, etc. He has been doing so good. We can't afford a lawyer and area afraid of the Public defenders people. The police said it took the 2 years to build a case. When he was arrested they had a 10k bond but he was released later that night on O.R.We are scared that all his hard work to put his past behind him and have a normal life are crushed. He goes for his pelim hearing on 4-4. Is there any advise you can offer...

Re: 3rd strike law

This is a tricky situation given his history. It's tough to give specific advice without seeing the police reports, etc. I have a lot of experience in handling drug cases and am familiar with this type of situation. If you are looking to hire private counsel, give me a call.
