Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

my alarm went off. alarm company was notified and called police. it was then called off but the officers procceded to go to my house anyways. I got home about the same time the officers were there. they asked if I wanted them to go check the house, I replied no ill check it my self and they came in neways and found marijuana in plane site. but in the report he said that i just said Ill check my self. I have a witness that heard me say no. My question is if I should bring witness there on my second hearing or will they bring him in on the third hearing with a supina???

Well, I don't really think it matters whether you told the police you would check the house yourself. It was your responsibility to ensure a false alarm does not occur and, if the police are called, they have a right to enter to ensure the safety of all persons and property. If you end up having something illegal in plain sight, you probably won't be able to get out of it. Best of luck.
