Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Arizona DUI
If I have a DUI in Arizona, and my license is suspended, if I move to California or Colorado, can I get a license in those states if my Arizona license is still suspended?

Re: Arizona DUI
Most states particiapte in an interstate compact wherein they check each other's driving records. The state of AZ does not have the legal authority to suspend a DL issued by another state. However, you may be asked about the status of your AZ drivers license when applying for a new state and could face severe penatlies if you provide inaccurate info.
