Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
According to Arizona law, unlawfully administering a narcotic drug to a person without his/her consent or knowledge is considered a class 6 felony. Would it be a "non-dangerous" offense or a "dangerous" offense if you did so and then let that person drive without telling him/her? The person's estranged wife intentionally put hydrocodone in his soup without telling him, knowing how it would affect him and knowing he would be driving after he ate.

The circumstances of the crime determine whether it may be a dangerous crime. A motor vehicle has been defined as a deadly weapon therefore letting someone drive after administering the drug can be a dangerous crime.
