Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
attorney in fact?
In Arizona, can someone other than an attorney stand in as my attorney and is it called attorney in fact, if not what is it called? I have 2 cases right now in court one is criminal the other is custody, my next court date is sept.17 2002. If possible could you let me prior to.

No only a licensed attorney can appear before a court. An atty in fact is merely someone authorized to transact on your behalf. This does not mean that they can act as a lawyer.
