Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
I bought an item from a friend, worth about $900. I just found out it was stolen and I'm facing felony charges. What kind of punishment should I expect?

More information is needed to answer your questions. However, if you have been charged with trafficking in stolen property, a class 3 felony, the sentence ranges from 2-8.75 years in prison (per count). Probation may be available if you only have one count and no criminal history. I'd advise you to retain private counsel asap to defend your case. Good luck.

You may have a defense to the charge if you did not know the item was stolen and you paid what it was worth.
