Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
case classification
My car was seized under Apache County Attorney''s Anti-Racketeering act and went to their revolving fund.The forfeiture was sent to the wrong address 3 times, I did not receive until months later.My criminal lawyer says it''s a civil case, how is that right?

Well, the forfeiture action is a civil proceeding arising out of a criminal case. Forfeiture cannot be settled unless and until you are convicted of the crime.
