Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

I would like to know what are the chances that jail time would be given for 1st time offense of fraud and fraudulent schemes? It's for notarizing a warranty deed without the person present and the deed turned out to be forged. I had no knowledge that it was forged.

Every white collar case is different. I have prosecuted and defended notaries charged with various frauds related to real estate transactions. If you didn't know the deed was fraudulent, then you are innocent and shouldn't worry about jail time. If you are looking to hire an attorney experienced in this area of law, feel free to give me a call at (six zero two) two two two - nine two three seven.

If it was your first offense, the state should offer you probation and no jail time. However, I would need to know what your involvement was in this transaction and what the state knows about your involvement in the transaction, before I could answer your question.
