Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

I was charged with a felony felony in Arizona,my case was dissmissed.after dissmissing my case I filed a law suit against the police department for wrong arrest and they offered me an offer of judgment and since I needed the money I took the offer.Now when I do a backround check on me I can see the charges.even though the charges have been dissmissed they still show up on my record.I have heard that there is no such thing as expungement in the state of Arizona,but I have been fired from my job twice and denied from couple apartment compexes for my record.is there any way that I can expunge or seal it?

Go to http://www.arizona-expungement.com/ for more information on this. In Arizona it is not called expungement it is called "setting aside" one's criminal record. Really nothing should be showing up at all if you were never even convicted. Charges alone are no proof of guilt. See if maybe there was some type of computer glitch or human error that causes it to still show up when background checks are run. If that doesn't work, you may need to sue the court system or limiting your rights to employment and housing.
