Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
I have been charged with a possession of marijuana and a drug paraphernalia charge in AZ, They are the first charges i have ever received, I went to my initial appearance today and they told me that i was not eligible for tasc and I am very confused as to why?

If this is your first felony conviction and your first drug conviction, either felony or misdemeanor, than you are eligible for TASC. However, if you have two prior misdemeanor drug convictions you are not eligible for TASC. Plea offers are not extended at the Initial Appearance. You will likely get a TASC offer during your first status conference.
