what are the chargers for extortion?

Essentially, a person commits extortion when they demand property or services by threatening to cause harm to person or property, or to accuse anyone of a crime or bring criminal charges against anyone, or to expose a damaging secret. Depending upon the nature of the threat, extortion can be either a class 2 or class 4 felony. There are certain defenses to extortion also.
