Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
Cocaine Possession
A friend of mine and her boyfriend were arrested for cocaine possession. I don't know how much she had but she said her boyfriend, who had prior drug charges, is looking at 4 to 5 years. She does not have any priors but she didn't show up to her arraignment and there is a warrant out for her arrest. If she turns herself in could she still avoid jail time?

Re: Cocaine Possession
Her failing to appear doesn't help matters, but it may not directly effect jail time if she is convicted. I have done many similar cases and if you friend is looking for representation she should give me a call.
