Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
I was convicted of Criminal possession of a forgery device and I would like to go to school for a healthcare related career. Is there any way I could have this offense removed so I could gain employment and receive a fingerprint clearance card?

You could petition the court to vacate your conviction and expunge your record. This may be satisfactory for obtaining a fingerprint clearance card from the DPS, but you should check the rules in your industry, or with DPS.

You can petition the court for a set aside. Unfortunately, the state of Arizona does not have any law that allows a criminal defendant to expunge his or her record.
