A convicted felon loses the right to possess a firearm. This right is not automatically restored. Unless you were convicted in federal court, you may be eligible to apply to have your gun rights reinstated. Arizona allows most convicted felons to apply for their gun rights back, but judges often deny such requests. An attorney may be able to assist you.
