court appearance
My attorney said that I do not have to be present at the oral argument to have my trial continued. Is that true? I am curious because she has given me wrong information before.

Depending on the nature of the hearing / oral arguments, it is possible that your presence can be waived. If you are concerned, get something in writing from your attorney.
