Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona
criminal law
i noticed on line that i have been named as a co-defendant in a case that has been ongoing since july 2007, the other defendant has been to court, etc, but i do not even have a warrant for my arrest, and do not even remember breaking the law! the court minutes revieled that the charges had something to do with narcotics for sale?, and in the minutes it states something about supervening grand jury and indictment. does this mean the state is building a case against me?

Re: criminal law
What this likely means is that you have been charged by a grand jury by committing various crimes and that there is a warrant out for your arrest. Sometimes it takes a while for them to pick up you up - even years. I am handling a case right now where it took 3 years to pick up my client. In any case, you need to be proactive about the matter and hire an attorney to get the warrant taken care of and then defend the case. You don't want to be driving to the mall with your family and then surrounded by 10 cops with guns looking to arrest you. If you are serious about hiring a private attorney, give me a call at (six zero two) two two two - nine two three seven.
