Criminal Tampering
I just received information from the FBI, that
an employee that has been employed by me has
a FBI file. In the file the aledge employee
was charged with the offense of Criminal Tampering.
This is a very broad offense. Can someone tell
me what this offense could be for.
Thank-You

Re: Criminal Tampering
It usually means someone is charged with tampering with evidence of a crime which that person committed, although it could be evidence involved in a crime another committed.
A bank robber who uses a gun and later destroys the weapon could be so charged, as an example.
