US Customs and Child Pornography

Earlier this year I was approached by US Customs. They interviewed me regarding a company they were investigating. I answered all of their questions but they then wanted to take any computer equipment I had. I explained that I didnt have a working computer at home and that they couldnt come in. The agent got upset and then told me that since I wouldnt cooperate I was now under investigation and since I like to travel internationally he was going to fix it so I could not do any traveling. Can he do that? I have not heard from US Customs since that day and am planning a trip this summer. He told my employer that I was being investigated for child pornography which is absolutely ridiculous but nevertheless here I am....

The first and usually most serious mistake a suspect makes is to talk to law enforcement. Experience teaches that 98% of all criminal cases are made through the suspects own admissions. Additionally similar inculpating evidence is typically seized from allowing law enforcement to search. If your confession and consent to search are valid and inculpating evidence was seized you are looking at mandatory prison time. You need to set up an appointment to do an in depth interview and to attempt to resolve the matter prior to it getting worse.
