Debit Cards
Is it o.k. to use a parent's debit card to withdraw money from an ATM or use it for purchases in a store, with the parent's knowledge?

Re: Debit Cards
One person may legally authorize another to use a debit or credit card. Such authorization should be in writing and notarized to prevent possible complications. Knowledge by parents is insufficient; consent must also be given. A writing demonstrating knowledge and consent (authorization) is desirable.
